Untouchable

At the height of Papa Doc's authoritarian regime, Fritz, an eighteen-year old Haitian high school graduate, is sent to Valdosta, Georgia to learn to fly planes for the Haitian Air Force. Fritz is forced to navigate what it means to be Black for the first time while in the Jim Crow South, narrowly avoiding arrests and brutality as his diplomat status has made him legally untouchable. Meanwhile, in Haiti, Fritz's psychiatrist sister, Ghislaine, and brother-in-law, Glodys, use mental warfare to bring down the regime from the inside when Glodys is brought in as Papa Doc's confidant. In this dramatic, true tale of family, espionage, and new beginnings reminiscent of WACO and Women of the Movement, the siblings must overcome racism, misogyny, and threats on their lives in order to make their country a better place.
